Carmine Jabri - President and CEO

As co-founder of E.M.M.A. International Consulting Group, Inc., Carmine Jabri, PhD, MSJ, MSQM, MHA serves as E.M.M.A. International’s President and CEO. Dr. Jabri is an experienced Healthcare and Quality Assurance professional with more than eighteen years of experience implementing, improving and directing Quality Management Systems and Healthcare Operations. 

His career includes expertise in the Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, and Medical Device industries. Dr. Jabri's extensive knowledge of regulations and guidelines, coupled with his training and facilitation skills, help him lead the team of E.M.M.A. International consultants to help organizations improve their quality management systems, reduce costs, reduce errors, and comply with federal, state, and international standards and regulations. Dr. Jabri is an internationally sought after quality systems expert.

Dr. Jabri holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Epidemiology, a Master of Science in Jurisprudence, a Master of Science in Quality Management, a Master of Science in Health Services Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.

Kira Jabri - Vice President and COO

Kira Jabri, MPH, MSW is a co-founder of E.M.M.A. International Consulting Group, Inc. and serves as E.M.M.A. International’s Vice President and COO.  Mrs. Jabri has over eighteen years of experience as a healthcare professional culminating extensive experience and knowledge of FDA regulated industries.

Mrs. Jabri brings a unique perspective to the quality assurance and regulatory affairs world by combining her knowledge and skills as a medical social worker and a public health practitioner.  She is responsible for overseeing E.M.M.A. International’s ongoing operations, strategy and development.

Mrs. Jabri serves on the advisory board of Medical Main Street. Additionally, she is one of the founders of the Michigan Medical Device Innovation Forum (MMDIF), which focuses on connecting medical device professionals, entrepreneurs, and manufacturers to discuss some of the current challenges and opportunities to advance the medical device sector in Michigan. 

Mrs. Jabri holds a Master of Public Health from Walden University, a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Social Work and Psychology from Cedar Crest College.

Jan Flégeau - Director of Global Regulatory Affairs 

Jan Flégeau is the Director of Global Regulatory Affairs at E.M.M.A. International. In this role, Ms. Flégeau oversees all the regulatory affairs services that E.M.M.A. International offers. Ms. Flégeau began working in regulatory affairs while living in Paris, France. She has spent over 20 years in the medical device field working in diverse international companies both small and large, focusing on a variety of medical devices such as cardiac, orthopedics, catheters, active implantable devices…etc. She is an expert in CE marking, FDA submissions and international registrations. Her expertise includes regulatory strategies, submissions, technical files and creative problem solving. Ms. Flégeau has worked directly with regulatory agencies in Canada, EU, China, Japan, Korea, France, and Brazil.

Ms. Flégeau holds a BA in International Business from Illinois Wesleyan University, and a Leadership Certificate from Kellogg School of Management. She is fluent in French. Ms. Flégeau oversees the Florida chapter of the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS).

Stephanie Schumski - Manager of Human Resources

Stephanie Schumski is E.M.M.A. International’s Manager of Human Resources. Mrs. Schumski comes to E.M.M.A. International after a long career in the healthcare field. Mrs. Schumski has been recognized for outstanding services, unmatched enthusiasm and expertise in personnel and recruitment systems and development. Mrs. Schumski oversees all human resources’ related activities. Mrs. Schumski is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Human Resources Management and a Minor in Interpersonal Communication. When she is not developing new and innovative human resources systems, Mrs. Schumski is a Lucky Village Council Member.

Rachel Kennedy - Director of Finance

Rachel Kennedy is E.M.M.A. International’s Director of Finance.  In this role, Mrs. Kennedy oversees the fiscal growth of the firm. Mrs. Kennedy comes to E.M.M.A. International with over 30 years of experience in the accounting & bookkeeping field, working with businesses in a variety of industries, as well as, Churches and other non-profit entities. Additionally, Mrs. Kennedy is currently the President/CEO of Precise Bookkeeping and Accounting.

Mrs. Kennedy is a member of the National Association for Professional Women (NAPW). She is also an active member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and the American Business Women’s Association (NBWA).

Janet Bloom - Sales and Marketing Specialist

Janet Bloom, PMP, serves as E.M.M.A. International’s Sales and Marketing Specialist.  In addition to her sales responsibilities, Ms. Bloom also coordinates all events for E.M.M.A. International, including overseeing E.M.M.A. International’s work with the Michigan Medical Device Innovation Forum (MMDIF).

Ms. Bloom began her career at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL in inventory management systems. Upon returning to Michigan, she continued her career in the automotive advertising agency arena. She then continued in her career working fourteen years in non-profit and city government positions.

Ms. Bloom spent many of her years in program management and event directorship roles at area Chambers of Commerce and local governments. She was a liaison with local businesses, community and civic organizations, and with local and state governments. These positions have allowed Ms. Bloom to work with large companies to sole proprietorships, to have the ability to see all sides of a project, to tune into issues and challenges, and manage a project to completion.

Her duration at the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep advertising agency, BBDO Detroit/PentaMark Worldwide included successfully completing and conducting ISO 9001 Auditor training.  She wrote company-wide and departmental level ISO procedures and carried out audits of the said procedures. She also assisted in developing the Professional Development Program for incoming, first year employees, which included vendor tours, speakers, and mentor matching.

Ms. Bloom attended Michigan State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the College of Communication Arts and Sciences, and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the Eli Broad College of Business. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Paige Metzger - Office Manager

Paige Metzger is the Office Manager for E.M.M.A. International’s headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Paige is currently attending Walsh College where she is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Management. In this program emphasis is placed on the principles of managing, the skills of decision-making and problem-solving, and the technique of interpersonal relationships. Her incredible organization skills keep our team running smoothly.  She is the friendly voice that our clients have grown accustomed to hearing when calling in to our office, and she takes great pride in ensuring that they are well taken care of.
